APRIL Outdoor Nature Program

Mommy & Me Outdoor Nature Program (Ages 2–6)
Location: West Hills County Park, Long Island, NY
Time: 10:15–11:30 AM

Dates:
Wednesdays: April 1, 8, 15, 22 or Saturdays: April 4, 11, 25, May 2

Children will learn about signs of spring such as growing plants, blooming flowers, returning insects, and active birds. Topics may change depending on the children’s interests. If your child is especially interested in a certain topic, please let me know.

During the guided nature walk, children use tools like magnifying glasses, binoculars, and small shovels to observe insects, plants, soil, and other things we discover on the trail.

Each class includes movement games, an educational nature lesson, guided trail exploration, and a hands-on craft or activity connected to the topic of the day. We finish the class with bubbles in the field.

Program Details

Caregiver must stay for the full session.
All materials are provided.
Park entrance is free.
Siblings under 2 attend free.

Completed waiver required with booking.

No refunds. Make-up sessions may be available if space allows.
