Fall II: 7-Week Little Explorers (Ages 2–6)+ Nature Mystery Kit

Little Explorers is a 7-week outdoor nature education program for children ages 2–6 and their families who love bugs, animals, and spending time outdoors. Fall and winter are wonderful times for children to learn about nature! As the weather gets colder, there are new things to notice. Where do insects go? How do animals stay warm? Why are some trees still green?

Each 75-minute class keeps children moving, curious, and engaged through nature games, guided nature walks, and hands-on learning. We'll spend less time sitting and more time walking, searching for nature clues, and observing the seasonal changes happening around us.

At the end of each class, your child will receive a special Nature Mystery Box to take home! Inside, you'll find more information about the day's nature topic to study together, a hands-on activity to continue learning, and a little surprise for your child!

Topics may include: Horses and hoofprints, animal homes, winter birds, lichens, rocks, and how animals stay warm.

Location: West Hills County Park, Melville, NY
Time: 10:15–11:30 AM
