MARCH Outdoor Nature Program

Mommy & Me Style, Fully Outdoor Nature Program for Ages 2–6

Location: West Hills County Park, Long Island, NY

Time: 10:15–11:30 AM

Dates:

Wednesdays: March 4, 11, 18, 25    or     Saturdays: March 7, 14, 21, 28

Children will explore nature through hands-on themes like: how trees prepare new leaves, signs of spring, birds in early spring, what animals do at the end of winter, and soil & mud exploration

Each class will include:

• A few minutes of free play (stepping stones, cones, movement games)

• A short circle time to learn about nature/bugs

• An interactive trail exploration with binoculars, magnifying glasses, or shovels

• A hands-on group activity or a craft

Program Details:

A parent or caregiver must stay for the full session.

All materials are provided.
