Little Hikers is a structured outdoor educational nature program where children learn about the natural world while exploring the forest.
In May, children will learn about spring insects, flowers, soil, birds, and other animals that are active on the trail. During the guided walk, children use tools such as magnifying glasses, binoculars, and small shovels to observe insects, plants, soil, and other discoveries in nature.
Each class includes movement games, a short educational nature lesson, guided trail exploration, and a hands-on craft or activity connected to what we learned. We finish the class with bubbles in the field.
