Little Explorers is a 4-week outdoor nature program for children ages 2–6 and their families who love bugs, animals, and being outdoors.
Each 75-minute class focuses on a seasonal nature topic and includes movement and nature games, circle time, a guided nature walk, and a hands-on activity. Each week, we learn about the seasonal changes happening around us, giving children a chance to see, observe, and connect what they learn to the nature around them. At the end of the November program, each registered child receives a special Little Hikers Nature Mystery Kit to take home and continue learning and exploring with their family.
Fall topics may include horses and horseshoe prints, how animals stay warm, lichens, why trees lose their leaves, and more.
